NICK OWEN ENTERTAINS A CHARTER NIGHT FULL HOUSE

TV presenter Nick Owen was the guest speaker at Kinver Rotary Club's Charter Night, celebrating the chartering of the club in 1986. It was a full house at The Fox, where Rotarians and their guests were joined by Distict Governor Peter Roberts and his wife Pam. Nick, as befits a former UK Speaker of the Year, gave a very entertaining talk about his career highs and lows, the people he has met and his passion for sport. Nick had also provided the raffle prize for the evening - a visit for up to four people to the director's gallery during transmission of 'Midlands Today'. To go with this the Cote Brasserie offered a generous meal voucher to round off what will be a very good night out. Prizewinner Eileen was thrilled.
