Graham receives cheque from KCF sponsor_0.jpg

Each year the Kinver Country Fayre Trustees look to distribute funds raised from the annual fayre. They invite local groups and organisations to apply for these funds. Kinver Rotary Club has supported the Country Fair over quite a number of years and so Youth Committee submitted an application for monies to assist with it's ever increasing development and diversity in support of local schools. A two year bursary to a pupil at Kinver High, dictionaries to upper class primary school pupils, assistance with the Life Education Caravan, Kids Out venture, Mablethorpe holidays, support to talented individuals, along with photography, writing, young speakers competitions are but a few of the ways the club provides help. Youth chairman Graham Smith said that we are fortunate to have a strong team willing to assist and these are great opportunities for the different generations to work together, however many of these projects tend to have a considerable cost involved as well, hence the grant application to KCFT It was great and pleasant surprise for Graham to receive a cheque for £1500 from the KCFT at their presentation evening on 12th November.
